Frequently Asked Questions
What does 'finished minutes' mean?
Finished minutes refers to the final rendered output duration. A 25-minute episode counts as 25 finished minutes, regardless of how many scenes, takes, or review rounds were involved in producing it.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. You can move between tiers at any billing cycle. Unused minutes do not roll over, but active projects and continuity libraries persist when you upgrade.
What happens if I exceed my included minutes?
Additional finished minutes are billed at the overage rate for your tier ($35/min for Indie Slate, $28/min for Studio Team). Enterprise rates are negotiated. You will always see your usage before rendering.
Do I own the content generated?
Yes. All deliverables produced through the platform are yours to distribute commercially under your production entity. The underlying model components are licensed, not transferred.
How does the Indie Pilot work if it is a one-time purchase?
The Indie Pilot is a single project package — you pay once and receive one complete deliverable package (up to 15 finished minutes). It is designed as a paid proof before committing to a subscription.
What export formats are supported?
Standard exports include ProRes and H.264 masters, trailer cutdowns, key art options, and SRT subtitles. Studio and Enterprise tiers support additional formats including IMF and custom delivery specs.
